From Akureyri, Caroline and I visited Hrisey Island in early April. It was largely shut! We felt like the first tourists. But it had this lovely church!

Blönduós also had a very interesting church
Ögurkirkja, with two quite distinct backgrounds .... the ugly one is a broken vehicle store!
